An Example to the Youth

By decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the honorary title of ‘Honoured Worker of Industry of the Republic of Belarus’ was awarded to Sergei Litvyakov, Deputy Director General for Ground Equipment and Foreign Economic Relations at JSC Peleng.

The award recognises many years of fruitful work and a personal contribution to the development of the latest equipment for armoured vehicles and artillery systems.

‘Sergei Borisovich is an outstanding engineer and a talented leader,’ notes Dmitry Pantus, Minister of the State Authority for Military Industry. ‘His professionalism, dedication and focus on results help strengthen our country’s defence potential. I am confident that his achievements serve as a shining example to the younger generation of industry workers.’

Sergei Litvyakov has 40 years of experience in the optoelectronics industry, having risen from design engineer to deputy director general. He holds 43 patents and has participated in the development of sights and systems for the T-90S, T-80BV, and T-90M tanks, Pantsir air-defence missile systems, T-15 infantry fighting vehicles, and the Terminator tank-support combat vehicle. He is a laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus.
